1810 $5 Large Date, Large 5 AU53 Certification #84024086, PCGS #8108
Owner's Comments
CAC - Warm, original color bathes this AU53 in rich honey gold with russet and blue highlights hugging the rims and low points, while real luster still peeks through the fields and settles in the protected recesses. The wear is even and balanced, with a touch of friction that fits the grade, and the surfaces are pleasantly untouched by anything more than honest circulation. Detail remains strong throughout, giving the piece a killer, original toned gold look and excellent eye appeal. Housed in a PCGS holder and approved by CAC, this example checks all the boxes for a wholesome piece of early gold.
