Owner's Comments
S-287, R-2, Normal Date. EAC 60. CC #3 in Noyes. Breen Die State V, ex. James Mossman, Cardinal Collection. Rare "7-Digit Blue" holder. One of the difficult dates of the series, and the lowest reported mintage. Coin has nice original color and hints of original red throughout the reverse.

1811 Large Cents come with either "Normal" dates or as an 1811/0 overdate. It is possible to attribute these varieties by the reverse alone. The overdate has a raised, horizontal line below the E of ONE which is visible even on low grade examples. If the mark is absent, the coin is a "Normal" Date.
