This date is another of the many famous rarities of this design. It is more rare than the 1813, 1814/3, 1818, 1820 (all varieties), 1821, 1823, 1825/1, or 1826. The majority of known specimens are uncirculated, some of them gem quality, but there are a few in the EF-AU range. It is difficult to say how many different specimens are known but a reasonable guess would be slightly in excess of twenty.
