1835 50C O-107 AU55+ Certification #32280553, PCGS #39933
Owner's Comments
The twin of the previous lot. Soft silver centers yield to rich rainbow toning at the periphery. You can tell that these two marvelously toned GEM AUs were stored together for decades in the same old album. The colors are spectacular and these two coins need to be seen in hand to be truly appreciated. O-107. R-1.
PCGS 195, NGC 132, CAC 40. Again, toss away the price guides and don’t even bother with APRs. The toning on this one is ever so slightly less vibrant than the previous lot, but nonetheless, we rate the colors as an 9+ on our 10-point scale. Truly a beauty and a coin that really will bring a record price for an AU55 1835 half. The opportunity this pair presents for the collector is one that should not be missed! As stunning as any of the coins in the Northern Lights Collection, and no doubt will realize a world record price! Good luck!
