The 1851 Baldwin & Co. $10 usually comes with weak central details. Early states show little or no die cracking, while the latest state show obvious cracks at the date, and a big rim cud ar 9:30 on the obverse.
Most examples are heavily worn, cleaned or damaged, with very few at the AU level. In Mint State, the 1851 Baldwin & Co. $10 is a great rarity. The price record for this type is $235,000, realized in 2014 by a PCGS MS61 example.
