Most original seated quarter I have ever seen. This coin was also struck off of proof dies because of the flatness to the date so it is semi-pl. One of my favorites!!

Hundreds of Mint State 1877 Quarter Dollars have been certified by PCGS and NGC, mostly in the MS64 to MS66 grade range. Thus, collectors should have no trouble finding a nice example of this date. Superb examples are a little more difficult to find, and any example in MS68 is an ultra-rarity. This date is known for a good strike, and rich, frosty luster.
