Owner's Comments
Although the 1880 s Morgan dollar is a generally available date for type collectors, pieces in this condition are legitimately rare, while the wonderful toning further enhances the coin's uniqueness and appeal. Of note, images of this coin are featured by PCGS in the Coinfacts entry for the 1880 s Morgan Dollar.

The 1880-S Morgan Dollar is one of the most common coins in the series. It is fairly easy to find up to MS66 condition. In MS67 to MS68 they are much scarcer. In MS69 they are considered rare, as few examples exist in this condition or higher.
