1896 1C, BN AU58BN Certification #58729504, PCGS #30063

This coin has had a long journey. Originally purchased back in 2025 (Today April 2026) and sent in for grading. Came back as an AU58 FAR 6 variety which it is most definitely not! Sure, I'd love to have an AU58 Far 6 in place of a "Regular" 1896, but it clearly was not the variety.... Sent it back with a note stating such and PCGS corrected the issue in what I would call; Blazing Speed! It "Appears" PCGS has changed procedures on these types of mis-graded coins??? I do not know the answer, but will say this is the fastest I've EVER had an issue like this fixed!! KUDOS to PCGS!!
