The population data for the 1901 Barber Quarter is in line with most of the dates from this series, many of which had similar mintages and collector demand.  The majority of certified coins are of the brilliant, non-Cameo version and only about twenty percent of the total population are listed as Cameos.  In this future, the percentage of Cameos will rise as more and more coins come in for re-examination.  Deep Cameo 1901 Quarters are exceptionally rare.

The most frequently-encounted grade for Cameos is PR66CAM, although the concentration there may be inflated due to resumbissions.  Anything better than PR66CAM is considered rare.
