1907 10C MS63 Certification #10222399, PCGS #4842
Expert Comments
Ron Guth
The 1907 Dime has the largest mintage of the entire series of Barber Dimes and it is easily one of the most common dates of the type. PCGS alone has certified hundreds of Mint State examples, mostly in MS63 and MS64, but also with smaller amounts in MS65 and even MS66. Surprisingly (because this is such a common date), there are hardly any examples better than MS66. Collectors should seek out fully struck 1907 Dimes, as some show weakness on the digits of the date and slight rounding of the lettering on the reverse.
