The following is subject to be corrected in accordance with successive specimens bearing delineating markers: Master Hub 1 Working Die 3 (assuming ddo-001 is WD02) Came from Ddo-001 Working Die stage c/d after having been lapped and matches the hub from a 1916 P Type coin from a differing master Die/Hub than is catalogued in the master die pairings list via CONECA (or any other site that I know of) Impressed from the same hub as ddo-001, sister die. The hub is traceable to 16 and inconsistently through to 45 a few streams of deductive reasoning and primarily Langes historical account of design modifications. A new look at the old letters and politics of the 19teens would interestingly offer some insight and clues of the Mint as it pertains to other series, primarily varieties, and namely the Standing Liberty Type Coins as well as the previous designers methodologies in reverence of their eras time, per Langes opening paragraph. Further, the die variety prominence of 1919 indicated as being the “first variety coin” was just frankly not true, while it is an interesting error of hubbed and then machine lapped monstrosity. This forewing was from the post stage a alteration created from the lapping of stage a WD02 into stage c or WD03 as it would have been removed and annealed, hubbed, etc. it produced a large number of specimens, but not as many as WH01 which likely had just a few of dies to produce the early years far lower mintages.
