Owner's Comments
Q. David Bowers states that the typical 1920-D is a miserable strike., with a lack of detail on Lincoln’s hair. . .” He further states, “Finding a sharply struck gem with original color is almost . . .an impossibility.” He further warns not to put too much emphasis on the grade on the label on the slab of a certified coin but to look closely at the coin itself for color, sharpness, and strength of strike.
