1939-D 25C MS66 Certification #39855265, PCGS #5809
Owner's Comments
I bought this at a coin show in Sunnyvale and got a great deal on the coin. I asked the dealer how much, thinking he would say $80 to $100 but he said he did not have much in the coin and show was slow so $35? I bought it immediately

The 1939-D is somewhat of an underrated date. It is about as rare as many of the earlier mint marked issues but the 1939-D has traditionally sold for less. Frosty white Gems are available, as are toned examples with varying degrees of color.
