Legend Regency 39 Auction - "From the INCLINE Collection. What an incredibly and beautifully lustrous SUPERB GEM. As bold and brilliant as the day it was struck, this one clearly ranks near the top of the population, with just two finer. Sharply struck up, and ultra clean, this coin looks to be an even higher grade, though we make no guarantee that it will upgrade on resubmission."

The Denver Mint struck 37,822,000 1947-D Jefferson Nickels (#84032). This total was significantly fewer than Philadelphia’s output of 95,000,000, yet higher than San Francisco's mintage of 24,720,000. Compared to other dates in the series, 1947 represents a "middle-of-the-road" year for pre-1965 Jefferson nickel production.
