1958-D 25C MS66 Certification #25073227, PCGS #5865

Expert Comments

David Hall

The 1958-D has a mintage that is more than ten times the mintage of the 1958, yet it is about twice as rare in Gem condition than the 1958. The mintage was so large that not as many original rolls were saved in the year of issue. In Gem condition, the 1958-D is midle-of-the-road rarity wise for the 1941-1964 Washington quarters.
