I bought this coin at Great Collections auction. This coin has nice toning with some blue hues to it.

The 1961, while one of the most common 1932-1964 silver Washingtom quarters in all grades up to MS64, is actually a mid-range rarity for the series in Gem MS65 or better condition. It is certainly rarer in Gem condition than the S Mints of the 1940s and 1950s.
