1973-S $1 Silver MS68 Certification #11657534, PCGS #7414

Owner's Comments

Full Sharp Strike. Handsome profile. Luster is even with light gold patina starting to bloom at the rims on the obverse.

In 1973 the San Francisco Mint struck Uncirculated Eisenhower Dollars containing 40% silver. The coins were not issued for circulation but instead were sold to collectors at a slight premium.

Most 1973-S Uncirculated Eisenhower Dollars were struck in nice condition ranging from about MS64-MS67 condition. Examples in MS68 were much scarcer. In MS69 they are truly scarce with few examples confirmed.
