Schlag Composition: 0.75 part copper, 0.25 part nickel Diameter: 21.2 mm Weight: 76.16 grains (5 grams) Edge: Plain Struck only as Proofs and available originally only in Proof sets. Found with "Clear S" (Type 1) and a more open “S” (Type 2) mintmarks. The Type 2 mintmark is scarcer. To the untrained eye, it may be hard to differentiate between the two types and one should refer to a reference book in order to aid in distinguishing between the two types.
