An interesting strike. There is a little black around the front of the ear when tilted at the right angle. Beautiful, though. There's is also some black on the eagle shield on the reverse.

Most 1983-S Proof Kennedy Half Dollars were struck in great quality. Finding examples in PR68-PR69 Deep Cameo should be the norm. Perfect PR70 Deep examples are scarcer but with enough searching one can be found with minimal efforts.
