Details in Jefferson’s hair were added and/or strengthened. Struck only as Proofs and available originally only in Proof sets.

The 1991-S Proof Jefferson Nickel is fairly common for the series. Most examples were also well struck. Finding examples up to PR69 and PR70 Deep Cameo appears to be the norm.
