The 1994-P Special Mint Set Jefferson Nickel is the second lowest mintage mint state Jefferson nickel from 1938 to 2009. The 1994-P Special Strike nickel was only offered by the U.S. Mint inside a Special Coin and Currency Set.

Each Jefferson Coin and Currency Set contained a mint state 1993 Thomas Jefferson Commemorative silver dollar, a 1976 $2 uncirculated currency note and finally, the 1994-P Special Strike Jefferson nickel. The Jefferson Coin and Currency Set was offered by the U.S. Mint at a pre-issue price of $34 each. The regular issue price of each set was $39 each.
