1999 $1 Silver Eagle First Strike MS69 Certification #39334680, PCGS #99947

On the 16th of September 2025 and using my ELIKLIV microscope and Vantage 10X loupe, I examined this coin and describe it thusly. The Obverse has a ding on the top of the "I" of "LIBERTY", 3 dings vertically across the top of the ribs in the red stripe above the 6th sun ray from the left, a ding in the cloth of the robe hanging down on Liberty's left shoulder. I see no toning, spotting, or cloudiness. The Reverse has an odd very deep curved gouge in the field just above the "V" of "SILVER", a light mark below the "OF", a small light mark between the 4th & 5th bar from the left side of the shield. I see no toning, spotting, or cloudiness. This is a very nice coin with the only issue being the large gouge on the reverse below the Eagle. This coin is held in a PCGS Generation 6.0 holder used from May of 2015 to October of 2020.
