2002-D 5C PCGS #4151

Expert Comments

Jaime Hernandez

The 2002-D Jefferson nickel is very common and has a very high mintage of over 690 million examples struck. Finding examples with Full Steps characteristics should be fairly easy as many examples were well struck. Only in MS66 condition with Full Steps or higher does it become scarce to find. There have been very few examples discovered in MS67 with the Full Steps designation, making it very rare in this condition or higher.
