2003 $1 Silver Eagle MS67 Certification #34006895, PCGS #9964
Expert Comments
Jaime Hernandez
The 2003 Uncirculated Silver Eagles is one of the more common dates in the series, as it has a mintage of about 8.5 million. There are also several dates in the series with mintages under 5 million, including the 1996 which has a mintage of under 4 million.
Most 2003 Uncirculated Silver Eagles were well struck. Examples in MS66 - MS68 condition should be easy to acquire. Only MS69 examples appear to be scarcer due to spotting or minor nicks and scratches. Perfect MS70 coins are scarcer and command a significant premium.
