2003-S 50C Silver, DCAM PR69DCAM Certification #85186367, PCGS #96919

Expert Comments

Jaime Hernandez

The U.S. Mint struck both 1993 Clad and Silver Proof Kennedy Half Dollars to issue in proof sets. The 2003 Silver Proof Set had a significantly lower mintage than the clad proof set, making the 2003-S Proof Silver Kennedy Half Dollar scarcer than its Clad counterpart.

The majority of 2003-S Proof Silver Kennedy Half Dollars came well struck ranging from about PR67-PR70 Deep Cameo.
