2006 $1 Silver Eagle First Strike MS70 Certification #33874503, PCGS #89981

On the 7th of April 2026 and using my ELIKLIV microscope and Vantage 10X loupe, I examined this coin and describe it thusly. The Obverse has a short mark almost at the the 7th from the left sunray, a light small ding in the red stripe at about the height of Liberty's knee and directly above Liberty's left sandal and above the date, 4 marks that are likely coin edge strikes on both the red & white stripes to the left of "WE". I see no toning, spotting, or cloudiness. The Reverse has a very small ding just above the "F" if "FINE", 2 very light dings in the upper left of the shield, a small ding on the upper left of the "M" of "AMERICA, 2 dings on the rim edge above the 2nd "S" of "STATES" and the "O" of "OF", a mark on the right ribbon just under the "N" of "UNUM", 4 very light dings between the bundle of arrows and down to the "N" of "ONE" and to the right above the "D" of "DOLLAR". I see no cloudiness but several spots are seen, the first is a small spot with a halo around it above the "NE" of "FINE", and the leaf above, a small spot with a large halo on top of the "OZ" and "F" if "FINE" and the leaves of the branch Liberty is clutching in their claw, small golden toning on the rim edge above the "TED" of "UNITED" and a small golden spot above the "E" of "UNITED", a small golden spot on the base of the 1st "S" of "STATES", a larger off color spot just under the 2nd "S" of "STATES", a band of purple, green, yellow, blue color between the rim edge and the "ONE DOLLAR * A". This is a very nice looking coin with the exception of the large halo spot on the Reverse until one looks closer and there are a few other issues. This coin is held in a PCGS blue "FIRST STRIKE" holder of Generation 6.0 used from May of 2015 and until October of 2020 and this holder has no QR code.
