The 2007-W Proof Silver Eagles officially went on sale on March 27, 2007. The United States Mint sold the coins to its customers at an issue price of $29.95 for each coin. Each coin had a "W" mint mark on the reverse, indicating they were struck at the West Point Mint. The coins had no set mintage and were produced according to demand.
