Owner's Comments
On the 11th of January 2025 and using my ELIKLIV microscope and my Vantage 10X loupe, I examined this coin and describe it thusly. The Obverse has a diagonal mark to the left or below the "D W" of "GOD WE", a mark on the head on the right side or over Jefferson's left ear, a diagonal mark over the nose, a ding on the front of the chin. The Reverse has a vertical long mark under the "LU" of "PLURIBUS", numerous short diagonal marks on the 2 center columns of Monticello, a diagonal mark above the furthest right window of Monticello. The steps are all full and could be 6 full steps except for 3 small dings on the bottom step edge, 1 above the "N", 1 above the "C", and 1 above the "E" of "MONTICELLO". This is a very nice coin with not many marks, scratches, or dings but the surfaces are not clean and don't have the look of a better graded coin. This coin is held in a PCGS Tri-View Generation 6.1 holder used from 2020 to the present.
