The 2009-P Kennedy Half Dollar was not issued into circulation and they could only be purchased from the U.S. Mint at a slight premium. The mintage is relatively small compared to earlier years. Examples up to about MS66 condition can be purchased with minimal efforts. Coins grading MS67 are scarce. In MS68 condition or higher they are very scarce to rare.
