The 2011-S Uncirculated Silver Eagle was only issued as part of a 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set. The total mintage for the set was 99,882. Therefore, the mintage of the 2011-S Silver Eagle is considered to be somewhat low, especially in contrast to regularly issued Bullion Silver Eagles. Since regular Bullion Uncirculated Silver Eagles are usually produced in the millions or tens of millions.  

Most 2011-S Uncirculated Silver Eagles were struck in great detail ranging from MS67-MS69 condition. Examples in perfect MS70 condition proved to be much scarcer.
