2012 £5 Remembrance Day Silver, DCAM PR69DCAM Certification #32289451, PCGS #543408

Owner's Comments

(KM# 219) Proof Mintage: 3,000 - Minted by the Royal Mint to commemorate Remembrance Day 2012. The poppy is a symbol of remembrance. In 1915, John McCrae wrote "In Flanders Fields" after witnessing poppies flourishing on battlefields and graves of the fallen. This is because germination is triggered when the soil is disturbed.
