The 2012-P Benjamin Harrison Presidential Dollar coin was officially released by the U.S. Mint on August 16, 2012. The coin was issued to commemorate the 23rd President of the United States. This was the third of four different designs issued in the 2012 Presidential Dollar Program.

The coins were not released into circulation and were only sold by the U.S. Mint to its customers and to the public. The coins could have been purchased in 25 coin rolls at an issue price of $32.95 for each roll. They could have also been purchased in 100 coin bags at an issue price of 111.95 for each bag. And finally, they could have also been purchased in 250 coin boxes at an issue price of $550.95 for each box .
