The 2012 $50 Proof Gold Buffalo was struck in nice quality. Examples usually come in about PR68-PR69 Deep Cameo condition. Perfect Proof 70 Deep Cameo examples are a little more difficult to find. It's mintage is about 19,000 which is considered somewhat low, especially, if compared to the mintage of the 2006 $50 Proof Gold Buffalo which has a mintage of over 246,000. Collectors should not have a hard time finding a nice example as there are usually plenty of nice coins available in the marketplace.
