The 2013-W Proof Silver Eagles officially went on sale at the U.S. Mint on January 24, 2013. The coins had an issue price of $62.95 each, an increase of $3 each from the previous year. The coins came in a small blue velvet presentation box which was also inside a cardboard box, along with the certificate of authenticity from the U.S. Mint.
