The 2014-D Great Smoky Mountain Quarter was the first Quarter design issued in 2014. The Quarters were officially released on January 27, 2014. The coins were offered by the U.S. Mint in 40 coin rolls, as a two roll coin set, three roll coin set or in 100 coin bags. Most coins came well struck. Only examples in MS66 or higher appear to be scarce.
