CAC. Formally had the pedigree of North Georgia Collection. Charleston Rare Coins cracked it and resubmitted it to PCGS to try and upgrade to MS62. Prior to them, it was acquired from Stack’s Bowers Auction where it was from the “Railroad Collection of U.S. Gold Type Coins”.
Crossover from NGC who also graded MS61 in 4/2024. Formally in NGC # 2664472-008. Looking at the slab, NGC graded it in 2014-2015.

Was purchased in NGC holder and crossed to PCGS. It was CAC’ed so will need to resubmit.
Graded by NGC sometime from 2004-2008. Tried to cross and did not cross. Though I tried to cross it into a 1848-D/D…will try again without that designation to see what happens.
