About This Set: These are the 50 Franc Modern Swiss Shooting Coins from 1984 to present. The silver 50 Franc coins generally have very limited numbers of about 1,000 to 2,500. The gold 500 Franc coins generally come with mintages of between 100 to 300. Michael Haberling has a very nice book containing data and images on the modern coins called Swiss Shooting Festival Coins 1842-2015.

If you are interested in the much older and more extensive area of Swiss Shooting Thalers and Medals, you should get a copy of the Swiss Shooting Medal "bible" by Jurg Richter called Swiss Shooting Thalers and Shooting Medals. It's currently in its 3rd edition and is over 600 pages of historical information, data and color photographs of thousands of shooting medals.
