End-roll toned from an original roll.
Stone white, from an original roll
Bot raw; beautiful 2-sided honey-gold coating with luster, PQ++
Lots of red left on this 100-year old coin.
Rainbow-toned Teletrade coin from before they imaged all their coins
Found amongst a group of circ. Stdg. Libs.
ebay coin, bot 4 a few bux .. had it in my holdings raw for years
From a Capitol-holdered proof set.
Beautiful end-roll toning
Bought on eBay from old seller ronpennies
Superbird variety, from seller wrclark on eBay. I paid $79 bucks for it raw in 1999.
Photo #16 die pair in Tomaska book - heavy cameo obverse, lightly frosted rev; didn't miss CAM by much.
How is this coin not CAM? Look at the photos
I remain incredulous that this coin didn't get the DCAM designation. Look at the photos!
was hoping for CAM; a near-miss
Electric end-roll toning ... I liked it so much I crossed it from an ICG holder
The "Christmas" coin, featuring coppery-red-and-electric-green toning from a particularly virulent double-mint set, courtesy R&I Coins off eBay years ago
Unusual rainbow-like toning, since pliofilm packaging was used for the first time
End-roll toned from an original roll, you can see where the end-flaps lay ... was hoping for 65FBL
From a run of coins still in their OGP cello, this was the top coin of the group. My 1953 is 10x deeper and it only went CAM!
SUPER PQ++ From a run of OGP coins. So close to DCAM, thick obverse die-brushed frost with just a little weakness in the chin and a thick reverse with just the slightest lighter areas in the bell, super PQ for the grade.
Another in that run of early 60's OGP coins-- another to just miss DCAM; rev shows the slightest weakness in the right wing.
So I find the coin in an OGP, think, "great, 67DCAM," but no, only a 5-- how many brilliant '62s in PR67 are there right out of bed?? I finally find a nice DCAM but it's a lower grade. Grr.
From a bankwrapped roll I bought on eBay ... simply electrifying
Jon Rosenthal sold me this coin years ago; at the time he felt it "might make 65" ... thanks Jon!!
End-roll coin, amazing color
From one of two OGP sets; both twins went MS66CAM and have consecutive serial nos.
One of a pair of cameo dimes found in a short run of OGP sets
Both the dime and quarter in this set came from the same OGP box pack. Thanks Ralph!
Both the dime and quarter in this set came from the same OGP box pack. I liked the dime for CAM also but it just missed
Could 5; fields are fully PL with visible die striations not unlike some early 50s Franklins
Beautiful 2-sided rainbow target toning which enlivens the surfaces of the otherwise dull clad material
