The dates from 1858-91 are much more collector-friendly than the earlier issues, but they still present a challenge. You’ll find the No Motto dates through 1865, then the Motto (IN GOD WE TRUST) dates from 1866 through 1891. In addition, there are the Arrows at Date coins of 1873-74. From the years just before the Civil War to the final decade of the 19th century, this set represents a major segment of American history and a significant numismatic accomplishment.
