I bought this coin from Rust Coin in SLC shortly before they were forced to close…evidently the owner Gaylin had a Ponzie Scheme going, embezzling quite a few million dollars, it was based on the selling and holding of silver in their coffers. He bought vacation homes, race horses, etc. He’s now in prison.

This is a coin minted by the grandfather of Vlad Tepes III, Known as Vlad the Impailer, but also known as the historical figure that inspired the story of Dracula! Neither Dracula nor his father Dracul minted any coinage, they were busy with war, so this is effectively the money that circulated during the time of Dracula.
