The Half Cent is the smallest denomination ever issued by the United States but, in its day, it was one of the most important coins in the general public's pockets. At the time, one was actually able to purchase items for half a cent or a few cents. This set includes each of the six different types spanning the 65 years the coins were in service. Both circulation strikes and Proof coins are allowed in this set.
