The two bit piece, the quarter, is one of the staples of the American economy and has been since its introduction in 1796, which also happens to be the key issue for this type set – the one-year Draped Bust Small Eagle type. The second type quarter, the Draped Bust, Large Eagle type is also a key for this set, along with the Large and Small Capped Bust types that follow. The various Liberty Seated types are also popular and in demand with collectors, although finding them in the higher grades is easier than for the earlier issues. The Barber and Standing Liberty quarters are easy to obtain but are also popular with collectors. Add in the ever popular twenty cent issue to this type set and you have one of the classic United States groupings. Both circulation strikes and Proofs are eligible for this set.
