This coin was originally in a small ANACS AU-55 holder (with the scales hologram). It was obviously undergraded and the color certainly added to the appeal. This is also a very tough date.

I have several coins of this date, because I love the type with the rays! I got this nice looker from an 11 year-old coin dealer named Bryce. Though very young, he was good at picking up nice coins and selling them (with help and coaching from his father)!

Loved this coin instantly when I saw it in one of my favorite dealer's cases. I didn't take too long to snatch this one up. For some reason, this series does have a fair amount of attractive toners, MS and proof.
