The Troy Wiseman and Sons Collection: 1st Year Type with Gold

About This Set: First Year Type Set. Prompted by my third son about 5 years ago, finding a box of coins I had collected as a small boy, this collection was started. It was finally a way to do something with my four sons that allowed us to learn, have fun and most importantly spend quality time with each other, either at home or traveling to coin shows around the country. Every coin in this type collection is the first-year-of-issue which makes it much rarer and more difficult to obtain than obviously "any year" in the type. I will continue to complete and upgrade this collection as part of our over-all goal to own a first-year "major type" of every coin in the Red Book. Numismatics for me is the prefect way to do what I love...with the ones I love.
