The Gem State 20th Century Type Set

About This Set: Assembling this set has been a true joy. This century saw the United States rise from an emerging industrial nation to the greatest power the world has ever known. The great designs from the Renaissance of coinage early in the century are represented. The crowning scientific achievement of the Apollo program inspired the reverse of the Eisenhower Dollar and Susan B. Anthony. Sadly, the century also saw each depiction of allegorical Liberty give way to political figures. The final, and perhaps best likeness of this Good Lady figures prominently on the outstanding Peace dollar. SMS coins and others not intended for commerce have not been included except where other options aren't available.
