The Abe Curry Collection

About This Set: This set is dedicated to the Founder of the Carson City Mint, Abraham Curry. His portrait on the back of every issue of Curry's Chronicle, the award-winning journal of the Carson City Coin Collectors of America, takes me back to a romantic period in our country's history. Every time I look at the coins in my collection, I can hear the sound of horse-drawn buggies riding down Carson Street, and I can smell the fumes rising from the Carson Mint's chimney.

Heritage auctioned these coins, and 97 more with the "CC" mintmark, in my Navy Mustang Collection on August 24, 2022.
