This 1822 10C AG3 is a rare coin (PCGS R-7). Its a pricey coin for sure but beyond the price, the real test is finding one. With less than 300 survivors of which only 150 are estimated to be in straight grade, this coin is elusive, to say the least. It took some real searching and patience to find this one in straight grade. It also sits in my 1822 (4) coin Mint Set registry set which PCGS has pedigreed as the D.T. Cabinet, so its an important coin for my collection.
