1852 marked the last year of the "old standard" weight for the circulating silver, and the 1852-O Quarter will be the toughest of these to acquire. But the rarity in the silver will be the Dollar coin. With a mintage of only 1,100 pieces it's a solid mid-five figure coin in any collectible grade. No Half Cents were coined for circulation this year. The gold follows a familiar pattern, with the "C" and "D" mint low denominations, and the "O" mint higher denomination coins as the keys to the set.
