The 1869 Mint set is a fairly small set. Just two mints were in operation. Philadelphia struck all minor coins (Cent, Two Cent, Three Cent Nickel, Three Cent Silver, and the Nickel Five Cent piece) while the silver coins (Half Dime, Dime, Quarter, and Half) were struck at both San Francisco and Philadelphia. Dollars were made only in Philadelphia. None of the 1869 coins in this set are particularly difficult until you get to the top Mint State grades.
Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
