About This Set:
1892 was an exciting year and a fun mint set with the first year of the Barber coins and the San Francisco mint Morgan. Ellis Island begin accepting immigrants, James Naismith published the rules for basketball and later at the YMCA in Springfield, Massachusetts, the first official basketball game was played. Thomas Edison receives a patent for a two-way telegraph and Grover Cleveland defeated incumbent President Benjamin Harrison, becoming the only person to be elected to non-consecutive presidential terms.
